Sydney Dog Rescue & Pet Adoption
We are a small group of friendly volunteers that rescue, transport and foster care for the unloved, abandoned and unwanted pets from the major pounds in NSW. Since starting in 2009 we have saved and rehomed close to 800 once unwanted dogs. Our aim is to rehome all these beautiful dogs to loving forever homes where the dogs are adopted, for a second chance in life. Our aim is to rehabilitate these dogs whilst educating the community on responsible pet ownership and the joys of rescuing a poundie! No Kill Pet Rescue currently saves pets across NSW.
*** We are not taking surrenders, so please do not contact us if you are looking to surrender your dog. Recommend you contact your local pound, RSPCA or AWL. If you have found a lost dog, contact your local pound or take the dog to your local vet to be scanned. ***

We always have a large group of rescue dogs that are looking for new homes. These rescue dogs are placed in foster homes until they find their forever homes. By placing our dogs in foster homes we are able to assess their temperament and the way they interact with other people and animals. Every rescue dog has a different personality and we feel it is important to allow each dog to be in a loving and suitable environment in which they will thrive and learn to adapt into their new lifestyle.
We rescue dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds and personalities. We feel every dog is special and deserves a second chance at life. We believe there is an owner for every dog out there and it is just a matter of finding them. We assess prospective homes in order to best match a dog to their new owner. All of our dogs are rehomed with a two week trial and we recommend utilising this two week trial to ensure they have found a dog that is a good match for their family.
